The role blends technical enablement, solution architecture, and strategic consulting to drive adoption, growth, and trust across the Microsoft Security ecosystem.Base pay$116,600.00/yr - $198,200.00/yrResponsibilitiesDeliver hands-on workshops, webinars, demos, and technical trainings to equip resellers with deep knowledge of Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Purview, Entra, and other security offeringsCreate scalable enablement assets (e.g., playbooks, reference architectures, technical guides) tailored to partner needsHelp partners evolve into proactive, services-driven security advisors for their customers and assist resellers in positioning Microsoft Security effectively during the sales cycleMentor and guide other engineersCollaborate with sales teams to support technical discovery, solution design, and proof-of-concept deliveryStay up to date on Microsoft Security advancements and translate technical features and customer challenges into tailored solutions that drive meaningful business outcomesProvide thought leadership on emerging threats, compliance requirements, and security best practicesAlign with Sales, Marketing, and Vendor teams to align technical enablement with go-to-market strategiesRepresent the company at industry events, webinars, and partner forums as a subject matter expertProvide feedback loops from customer engagements to inform product improvements and partner strategiesWhat you bring to the roleA four-year college degree (or additional experience in a related field) with at least 8 years of specific experienceStrong expertise in Microsoft Security technologies (Defender Family, Sentinel, Purview, Entra, etc.)Ability to mentor other engineersAbility to simplify complex security concepts for diverse audiencesPassion for cybersecurity, innovation, and driving business impactDeep understanding of Microsoft Cloud licensingProven success in pre-sales, sales engineering, partner enablement, technical training, or customer-facing rolesExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex conceptsPreferred experience working with reseller partners, preferably in a technical enablement or training capacityExperience with AI/ML concepts and Copilot technologies is a plusTravel 10-25%, 1-2x a quarterHolds advanced badges and certifications in advanced solutions technology categoriesThe typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,600.00 - $198,200.00 per year. The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.At Ingram Micro certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives and long-term incentives. These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
