The role drives key initiatives that advance team productivity, including supporting special initiatives and projects, providing leadership for quality improvement initiatives, reporting and analysis, and acting as a product owner and key business stakeholder to ensure continuity of deliverables across contract administration functional areas.ResponsibilitiesAct as a lead individual contributor within the contract administration department and manage relationships with premier and high-end growth accounts and customers.Drive key initiatives that advance team productivity, including supporting special initiatives and projects.Provide leadership for quality improvement initiatives, reporting and analysis.Serve as a product owner and key business stakeholder to ensure continuity of deliverables across contract administration functional areas.Required Job QualificationsBachelor degree and 4 years health insurance contract operations experience OR 8 years of relevant experience OR Master degree with 2 years health insurance contract operations experience.Knowledge of health products and procedures, underwriting requirements, contract and funding arrangements.Analytical and reporting skills.PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office Suite.Project management skills.Customer service experience and acumen.Leadership skills.Verbal and written communications skills to manage staff and operations, build relationships across the organization and with external key stakeholders, build consensus and issue resolution.Preferred Job QualificationsExperience working as an account manager or supporting account managers around large complex contract negotiations.Management consulting experience.Process improvement skillset and acumen.Experience working in a matrixed environment.Software development or business analysis experience.Knowledge of external adjudication processes.Knowledge of large or national account contract specifications and processing systems.Knowledge of corporate marketing practices and health insurance product lines.Data analysis experienceScripting experienceAble to synthesize information/dataReporting, Power BI, automationIngestionTriage ticketsStrong communication able to translate technical into business languageAble to support and add process improvements for the teamAbility to lead technical projects independently and report statusWork ArrangementThis is a flex (Hybrid) position: 3 days in office; 2 days work from home.NDKTCompensation: $60,300.00 - $133,400.00Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and locationHCSC Employment StatementWe are an Equal Opportunity Employment employer dedicated to providing a welcoming environment where the unique differences of our employees are respected and valued.
