We offer a rehab to home program for short-term patients and help maintain the functional level of long-term care residents. How you Will make a difference Our Activities Directors make a difference in the lives of residents by planning, organizing, and directing a wide variety of activities that promote social, spiritual, and psychological needs. Coordinate and verify that assistance is provided to residents for activities and events as necessary. Provide in-room activities for residents who are unable to attend daily events. Create an ongoing calendar of activities that meets multiple needs and is accessible and appealing to people of all ages and abilities. Qualifications Degree and certification as a therapeutic recreation specialist; or Certified Activity Director by the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals; or Two (2) years’ experience in a social or recreational program within the past five (5) years, with one (1) year full-time in a resident activities program in a health care setting; or Prior completion of a state-approved training course. One (1) to two (2) years of management/supervisory experience.
