OverviewA fast-growing fintech organization is seeking an experienced Corporate Accounting Manager to help establish and lead its corporate accounting function. Backed by private equity and operating at national scale, the company offers cloud-based financial services to a large and diverse client base across multiple verticals.This role reports directly to the Vice President of Accounting and plays a critical role in managing monthly and quarterly closes, financial statement preparation, and technical accounting compliance.The position is fully onsite and offers high visibility to senior leadership and investment stakeholders.Base pay range$160,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yrAdditional compensation typesAnnual BonusKey ResponsibilitiesOversee and execute monthly and quarterly close processes across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and timelinessPrepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAPDevelop and maintain technical accounting memos and internal policiesLead audit preparation and serve as the primary liaison with external auditorsPerform financial analysis, variance reporting, and deliver insights to private equity stakeholdersMonitor and implement updates from new accounting standards and regulatory changesManage accounting for goodwill, intangible assets, and capitalized softwareSupport ERP implementation and process automation using NetSuiteProvide mentorship to the future Senior Accountant hireCollaborate with internal teams to improve reporting accuracy, consistency, and complianceRequirementsActive CPA licenseMinimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experiencePrior experience in both public accounting and private equity-backed industry rolesStrong command of U.S. GAAP with a proven ability to prepare and consolidate financial statementsExperience writing technical accounting memos and policiesFamiliarity with audit processes and working directly with external auditorsExpertise in accounting for goodwill, intangibles, and internally developed softwareHands-on experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP systemProven ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentIdeal Candidate ProfileCollaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive accounting leaderComfortable working with C-level stakeholders and investorsStrong organizational skills with the ability to develop scalable accounting processesExperience building or evolving accounting teams in newly established finance functionsSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionAccounting/Auditing and FinanceIndustriesStaffing and Recruiting and Financial Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
