OverviewSenior Income Tax Accountant (Hybrid in Boston) – client-facing role supporting high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families with complex tax and estate planning needs. Opportunities also available for an Associate Income Tax Accountant (5–8 years).This is a rare opportunity to join a growing firm with the resources of a large organization but the feel of a boutique, working closely with advisors, attorneys, and clients in a collaborative environment. Compensation up to $180K base + 15–20% bonus with hybrid flexibility (2–3 days/week in the Prudential Center office). No billable hour requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review complex high-net-worth individual, fiduciary, and trust tax returns.Ensure trust tax compliance (experience with OneSource strongly preferred).Engage directly with clients and advisors to develop strategic tax and estate planning solutions.Collaborate with the internal Family Office team on planning, compliance, and legacy strategies.Mentor and oversee junior professionals (senior role).Assist with audits, projections, and special projects to enhance client service delivery.Ideal Candidate Profile5–10+ years of experience in tax within public accounting, law firms, or wealth management firms.Strong exposure to high-net-worth and trust taxation (UHNW experience a plus).Experience preparing 50–200+ returns annually (with at least 50 trust returns ideal).Excellent communication skills with proven client-facing ability.CPA or EA designation strongly preferred.Background from a public accounting environment is welcome – this role offers better hours and no billable minimums.ApplicationIf you are an experienced tax professional seeking challenging client work, direct client interaction, and an improved work-life balance, we’d like to connect.
