OverviewSpecialist, Commercial Operations – San Francisco Bay Area, FIFA World Cup 2026. Reporting to the Executive Director Commercial Operations, the Commercial Operations Specialist will be a key member of the FIFA26 Commercial Operations team, working in close collaboration with the Host City Director and other stakeholders to deliver best-in-class design solutions for the FIFA World Cup 2026 (FWC26).DetailsDepartment: Commercial & MarketingEmployment Type: Fixed Term - Full TimeLocation: San FranciscoResponsibilitiesAssist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns (digital, print, social, etc.)Manage campaign calendars to ensure activities are completed on scheduleAssist in implementing marketing operations requirements at ancillary events held in the Host CityPlan and coordinate events such as product launches, webinars, trade shows, and other promotional eventsHandle logistics including venue booking, vendor coordination, and on-site setups for marketing activations around FIFA World Cup 2026Support local legs of the Trophy Tours in project planning or on-site deliveryEnsure FIFA rights and assets are leveraged correctly and collaborate with FIFA functional areas & Host Committees to build auxiliary events and revenue opportunitiesHandle premium items and coordinate with internal and external vendors to track items for marketing and brand needsSupport development and execution of marketing and promotional campaigns for licensed merchandise, collaborating with internal and external stakeholdersCoordinate with media outlets to ensure timely and accurate placement of advertisementsCompile and present reports to senior management on campaign performance, ROI, and recommendations for improvementWork with external agencies, printers, and other vendors to produce marketing materials (flyers, banners, advertisements)Collaborate with the FIFA Fan Festival team to provide on-site support and align with host committees on Fan Festival plansMaintain accountability across multiple projects and manage expectations accordinglyQualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent higher educationMinimum 3 years of experience in a similar roleExperience in project management and coordinating large eventsStrong client management skills; agency background advantageousExcellent communication and organizational skillsExperience in entertainment, agency or sport advantageousExperience working in organizations with international offices/staffMid-level management experienceFluent in EnglishProficient in Project Management tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project, Teams) and planning softwareOutlook, scheduling, and online collaboration toolsCompensation & BenefitsSalary in California ranges, with a note that compensation is determined by factors including education, experience, and qualifications.
