OverviewSr Revenue Recognition Accountant role at Siemens Healthineers. Varian is scaling a global portfolio across hardware, software, and services. We’re seeking a Senior Revenue Recognition Accountant to lead complex contract/order reviews, operate SOX controls around order booking and revenue, partner cross-functionally across O2C, and drive the annual SSP evaluation and update for the portfolio worldwide.Join a global team that values diversity, inclusion, and professional growth while delivering breakthroughs in healthcare.ResponsibilitiesContract & order review: Evaluate Master Agreements, addenda, quotes, and SOs for non-standard terms (bill-and-hold, acceptance/installation dependencies, cancellation/return rights, rebates/tiered pricing, managed/hosted services, license activations), conclude IFRS 15/ASC 606 treatment, and document technical positions.SSP ownership: Lead the annual SSP evaluation and update cycle for hardware, software, and services—methodology, data prep/analytics, approvals, factor/price table updates (Unity/SAP) and audit-ready documentation.Controls & governance: Perform and continuously improve key SOX controls over order intake and revenue recognition.O2C partnership: Partner with Product Marketing, Pricebook Management, Segment Finance, PMO, Tax, and IT (SAP/Unity) to align on product configuration, fulfillment model, invoicing, and revenue recognition.Technical accounting (global): Provide guidance across NA, EMEA, APAC, LATAM; prepare concise memos, support external audit and lead walkthroughs with internal controls.Core RequirementsSeasoned Expertise: A minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, with hands-on experience in Revenue Recognition.Educational Foundation: A degree in accounting or finance.
