Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Overview Bryan Rock Products, a family-owned mining company located in the south metro, is seeking a CFO due to retirement. The CFO is responsible for overall financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, tax and legal compliance, and bank relationships. This is a hands-on position working in treasury, general ledger, taxes, HR, IT, insurance, acquisitions and estate planning. A strong background in working within a family-owned business in the construction or manufacturing sector is preferred. The CFO will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding company/'s financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management. Responsibilities Create and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to CEO and leadership team. Manage cash flow, working capital, financing and banking relationships. Perform month-end close and prepare financial statements and operations cost analysis. Oversee annual audit. Build and manage models for costing, planning and forecasting. Collaborate with COO and Sales to translate production and sales data into financial strategies. Analyze and model acquisition opportunities in collaboration with CEO and COO. Develop and monitor IT and communication systems, including key contact with outside MSP. Assess risk and manage property and casualty insurance program. Manage HR and employment matters, group benefits and 401k/profit sharing plans. Develop and oversee implementation of new systems for time tracking and job costing. Supervise and mentor staff performing billings, collections, and sales/operational analysis functions. Assist ownership with individual tax and estate planning activities. Ensure legal compliance of all financial and tax functions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required; CPA or MBA preferred. 7 - 10 years of progressive hands-on experience in accounting or finance, preferably in construction, mining or manufacturing. Experience with job costing and related systems. Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills. High level of integrity and dependability. Collaborative and team-focused attitude, with strong interpersonal skills. Background and understanding of family-led business culture and priorities.
