In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a great team while supporting a federal project.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met.Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and architectures for application products.Write, implement, and report status for system test cases for testing.Analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports.Serve as subject matter specialist providing testing know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications.Direct and/or participate in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design and test tools selection.Education And ExperienceBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum 4 years of experience in a business analyst role, in a technical environment.Required SkillsServe as a Testing Subject Matter Expert (SME) with the ability to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases from requirements or design specifications.Demonstrated development experience with Java and Angular, enabling effective collaboration with development teams and deeper testing insight.Capable of performing independent testing activities without relying on pre-written scripts or constant supervision.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues across the testing lifecycle.Ability to design and execute test strategies tailored to dynamic project needs, ensuring high software quality and coverage.Experience with federal project SDLC using Java and Angular languages.Experience with triage, creating, and modifying stories in the project management system.Experience with Financial Management Systems and PeopleSoft.Experience with Oracle and Mongo DB.Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience in manual and automation testing, creating test plans, and developing test strategies.Experience working in UAT environments and supporting end-users.Ability to understand and document business processes effectively.Desired SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.Security ClearanceEligible for a Public Trust Security Clearance.More About B&ANotable Clients: B&A has grown to be a company trusted by our clients for exceptional service, innovative solutions, and inspired employees, working with federal, state, local government, private sector, and higher education.
