RequirementsTop-Secret U.S. Security Clearance (a U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is regarded as active).A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Linux Development Environment.At least 2 years of experience using C++.A minimum of 2 years of experience working with version control systems such as Git or Subversion.Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies, focusing on Scrum and Kanban.ResponsibilitiesAs part of our Virtual Warfare Center virtual simulation team, you will collaborate with both our Boeing development team and external partners on a large-scale federated simulation environment. Your role will involve supporting Contractual Research and Development efforts and collaborating with customers to define and implement modeling and simulation to aid warfighters in their experimentation initiatives. You will be tasked with determining requirements, developing simulation software, troubleshooting existing software, and assisting in the creation of software designs and test plans. We are currently seeking candidates with varying levels of experience, including Associate and Experienced Software Engineers. You will be working on multiple toolsets focused on virtual simulation and experimentation, specifically the Virtual Interactive Simulation Environment (VISE). Your responsibilities will include developing capabilities for a diverse range of customers, both internal partners and external clients. You will get the chance to model various platforms, sensors and emitters, communications, weapons, and tactical systems, as well as support rigorous experimentation efforts that involve advanced concept capabilities dictated by our customers. Our summary pay range for the Associate level is $90,100.00 – $121,900.00, while for Experienced candidates, it is $110,500.00 – $149,500.00.
