Engineering Manager

OverviewWe are looking for an experienced and energetic Engineering Manager to join our R&D team to deliver MEMS-based products. This role will help manage and guide our R&D teams to deliver solutions for customers, build strong customer relationships through dedicated engineering support and product development, and work closely with engineering and management teams in China.Job Title: Engineering ManagerJob Type: Full-timeWork Schedule: Onsite Responsibilities Interact with customer engineering teams, introduce new products, coordinate engineering teams, and support ongoing design and development efforts. Coordinate and manage the NPI (new product introduction) development process and mobilize relevant resources to meet project needs. Coordinate and monitor feedback from the internal project team and ensure all relevant resources are assigned to meet project needs. Lead meetings with customers regarding technical aspects of projects and consolidate information and requests for the R&D team to follow up. Coordinate the work progress of engineering, production, and sales teams to deliver on customer requirements. Respond quickly to customer needs with a strong sense of engineering and the ability to adapt to a high-intensity, fast-paced environment. Be available as needed to assist customers and colleagues outside of normal business hours. Handle customer communication and information transmission, risk identification and control, and report on project progress, problem points, and solutions. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required; Electronics, Microelectronics, or Mechanical Engineering are strongly preferred. Strong MEMS expertise with hands-on experience in MEMS processes and products (preferably MEMS microphone or sensor manufacturing); deep understanding of complex mechanical assemblies and MEMS-related acoustic design parameters. Cross-functional collaboration: ability to work with customer engineering teams to address technical challenges and implement corrective actions; experience in direct client interaction and support roles with a focus on long-term partnerships. Technical rigor: knowledge of wafer-level and chip-scale packaging, acoustic design integration, and material selection for performance and reliability; able to support design and manufacturing activities in high-volume production. Engineering & product development background: minimum 5 years of experience in consumer electronics or related fields, bringing products from concept to mass production. Organized & project-oriented: strong organization skills in digital and physical environments; able to manage multiple projects across cross-functional teams, including international support and coordination. Strong communication skills: excellent written and spoken English; comfortable engaging with diverse teams. Experience working with international stakeholders, particularly in China, is a strong plus. Global experience: willing and able to travel domestically and internationally; Mandarin language skills and/or prior experience with Chinese factories is highly desirable.
