OverviewMechanical Mechatronics Engineer (ATV Team) at Foundation. We are looking for individuals with a proven record of exceptional ability and a history of creating things that work.Our Culture: We like to be frank and honest about who we are, so that people can decide for themselves if this is a culture they resonate with.ResponsibilitiesDesign, test, and integrate electric motors, gearboxes, and drivetrain componentsDevelop and validate custom electromechanical actuatorsSupport prototype builds with hands-on fabrication, test setups, and troubleshootingCreate and maintain CAD models, drawings, and documentation for mechanical subsystemsCollaborate with electrical, software, and controls engineers to integrate hardware into complete vehicle systemsAnalyze test data to guide design improvements and ensure system reliability in rugged off-road conditionsContribute to rapid prototyping and iteration cycles, from R&D concepts to field deploymentWhat Kind of Person We Are Looking ForExperience designing or testing rotating machinery (motors, transmissions, gearboxes) and/or robotic actuation mechanical designFamiliarity with sensors, wiring, and electromechanical integration4–6 years of experience in mechanical design, testing, or integration (robotics, EVs, automotive, aerospace, or mechatronics)Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks, CATIA, Onshape, or similar) for electromechanical systemsComfortable with prototyping, test setups, and hands-on troubleshooting in the lab and fieldBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related fieldQualificationsProven ability to design or test rotating machinery and robotic actuation systemsStrong understanding of sensors, wiring, and electromechanical integration4–6 years of relevant mechanical design, testing, or integration experienceProficiency with 3D CAD toolsCompensation and LocationThe annual compensation is expected to be between $150,000 - $1,000,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
