Essential Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies that support Oakwood Village’s strategic goals. Serve as a trusted HR partner and advisor to the CEO and executive team on all matters related to talent, culture, and organizational design. Technology and Data-Driven Insights: Lead the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of HR technology and HRIS to streamline processes and improve data accuracy. Utilize AI and other advanced technologies to gain insights into workforce trends, enhance recruitment, and personalize the employee experience. Board and Executive Reporting: Create and present materials and reports to the Board of Directors on key HR metrics, including talent acquisition, retention, and employee engagement. Employee Relations and Culture: Act as an advocate for employee concerns, ensuring a positive and productive work environment. Serve as the executive sponsor for the Inclusion Alliance, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organization. Develop and implement policies and procedures that reflect best practices and foster a healthy work culture. Talent Management: Oversee all aspects of talent management, including strategic recruiting, retention planning, and succession planning. This includes managing an intern program to build a pipeline of future talent. Compensation and Benefits: Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs for all employees, ensuring they align with market standards and organizational goals. Union Relations: Represent Oakwood at Union Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations and lead contract discussions. Oversee the HR team's handling of grievances, arbitration proceedings, and Labor Management meetings. Compliance and Operations: Ensure full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Supervise the maintenance of personnel records, HR/Payroll systems, and the production of all necessary reports. Organizational Development: Provide guidance and recommendations on organizational structure and development plans. Ensure best practices are utilized in all organizational development programs. Financial Management: Develop and align the HR budget with organizational strategic goals, monitoring to ensure the best possible financial and operational outcomes. Additional Duties: Participate in HR-related aspects of workforce planning for new or acquired facilities and serve as a member of the Administrative Committee to the 403B Plan. Maintain an awareness of and adherence to all compliance policies related to confidentiality, security, and resident well-being. Essential Qualifications A visionary leader with high ethical standards and integrity. A strategic and operational expert with strong analytical abilities and the ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on implementation. An effective and collaborative professional who can build consensus and work as part of a cohesive team. An influential communicator and mentor with excellent communication skills. An adept conflict resolution facilitator experienced in resolving disputes between parties. A hands-on leader who can roll up their sleeves to support day-to-day operations. Proficient in technology and regulatory compliance; strong MS Office skills and knowledge of HR regulations. Flexible and committed to varying hours as needed. Experience, Education And/Or Training A minimum of ten years of HR experience in senior living or healthcare, with at least five years in an executive-level role. A minimum of five years of experience in a union environment, including oversight of collective bargaining. A Bachelor's degree in Business (HR focus), Organizational Psychology, or Organizational Development from an accredited college. A Master’s degree or equivalent is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
