Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.The Consulting Analyst is responsible for contributing directly to a superior client experience while working closely with Investment Consultants through thoughtful and accurate analysis of the firm/u0027s Endowment & Foundation and Defined Benefit Plan client portfolios, aligning with our mission of helping clients prosper.Base pay range$65,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yrThe Consulting Analyst role may travel up to 10% of the time for training and/or business/events. This role offers a hybrid work model with three days in one of our professional office environments and two days remotely.ResponsibilitiesProactively lead portfolio evaluation/diagnostic review effort for new clients, cross-collaborating with multiple teams at the firmEvaluate and construct investment policy statements consistent with clients’ investment objectives, risk tolerance, and investment restrictionsAnalyze asset allocation structure of client portfolios, including modeling and portfolio optimization analysisCollaborate with Investment Research in developing solutions for client portfoliosDevelop fiduciary governance materials in preparation for quarterly reportingAnalyze and create customized components for client reports and supplemental meeting materials as neededAnalyze and develop trade recommendations to implement investment decisions, portfolio reallocations, or rebalancing, consistent with the firm’s risk management protocol and in compliance with client investment policy guidelines and firm-established policy and procedures. Closely monitor and respond to ongoing recurrent or ad hoc cash management needs in client portfoliosCollaborate with Performance Analytics and Client Services in developing optimal reporting solutions for clientsIssue and evaluate vendor RFIs or RFPs and prepare related analysis and deliverablesRespond to periodic audit requests for investment-related data and analysisConduct special ad-hoc analyses and projects as needed to support Investment ConsultantsInteract with and proactively communicate with Investment Consultants on all client matters and related projectsAttend and present at client meetings in a supporting role on occasionRespond to all meeting follow-up and action items in a timely and effective mannerMaintain accurate client account and investment records in the CRMRespond to client and vendor requests in a timely and effective mannerRequired Education, Professional & Technical ExperienceBachelor’s degree required with a preferred concentration in Economics or FinanceTwo (2) to five (5) years of investment consulting or investment-related work experienceExperience with servicing Institutional clients in a Discretionary Outsourced CIO (OCIO) servicing framework is a plusProficiency in Microsoft SuitePrevious experience with CRM, custody portals, and asset allocation modeling software is a plusCFA candidate is a plusKnowledge of capital markets, including domestic and foreign equity, fixed income, and alternative investmentsIntellectual curiosity about investments, asset allocation, and portfolio structureFundamental knowledge of retirement plans (Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution) and nonprofit client marketplacesThoughtful ability to establish rapport and build relationshipsExceptional communication in a public setting with notable writing and presentation skillsAdaptability when priorities shift and able to work independentlySound judgment and problem-solving skillsInnovative, curious, and enthusiasticDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and organizationAbility to cultivate and develop inclusive and collaborative working relationships to support a sense of belongingPassionate about working in an organization that values and promotes inclusion and belongingThis role may travel up to 10% of the time for training and/or business/eventsThis role offers a hybrid work model with three days in one of our professional office environments and two days remotelyWhat We OfferSummary highlights include a base salary range of $65,000-$85,000, eligibility for performance-based incentives, and a comprehensive benefits program. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location.
