The weekly hours will vary based on the needs of the program. Program hours vary. Ability to work morning and afternoon shifts will be required.JOB GOAL: To assist in providing an enriching, exciting, and fun summer experience to the children enrolled in our Chelmsford Community Education Summer Programs, ensuring all participants have a memorable time during any activities provided. This position covers all Chelmsford Community Education Programs, including but not limited to: Summerfest, SummerQuest, Field Play, etc.QualificationsA High School student of at least 15 years of age with Working Papers.Related experience working with children/teens desirable.Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.Such alternatives to the above qualifications as may be found appropriate and acceptable by the Director of Community Education.CORI and fingerprinting completed and accepted.Performance ResponsibilitiesAssist in implementing the daily provided program plan.Working with children ages PreK-9th Grade in a positive and supportive manner.Ability to work on the floor, lift over 50 lbs, work outdoors in all weather conditions, stay on their feet, and other physical requirements as needed.
