Our V Team collaborates to drive innovation, listen, and build trust in how we show up—everywhere and always.What you’ll be doingWith your sales experience, time-management skills, customer relations abilities, and enthusiasm for technology, deliver innovative business solutions that support technology evolution and connect businesses.Consult with customers to identify business challenges and recommend tailored solutions to deliver outcomes and revenue growth.Identify, develop, and qualify leads within your territory through cold-calling, partner-selling, lead-generation campaigns, and modern social selling.G ain new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets; retain, manage, and grow the existing customer base.Coordinate with support partners to educate customers on innovative business solutions.Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers and present multi-product solution opportunities.Demonstrate knowledge of wireless and mobility products and integrated software solutions (including Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP, and Google platforms).Track and report progress using sales force automation tools.Operate in a mobile role requiring travel in and around the Sports Arena/San Diego, CA area; majority of time in the field for in-person meetings and customer visits.What we’re looking forYou’re self-motivated, capable of explaining how complex technology solves everyday business problems, and comfortable with cold-calling and meeting new people to uncover needs. You seek to win, close deals, and help others, acting with integrity and believing that teamwork leads to success.You’ll need to have:Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experienceFour or more years of relevant outside sales experience or equivalent military experienceExperience in outside sales, prospecting, and negotiationWillingness to work in a mobile, travel-heavy role (up to ~50% in the assigned territory)Valid driver’s licenseEven better if you have:A degree (Associate or Bachelor) or certifications/college coursesTwo or more years of B2B or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and prospecting/cold callingTechnology sales experience (SaaS, CRM/Salesforce, or similar tools) and familiarity with social mediaStrong presentation skills in person and virtual settingsExperience building and maintaining relationships with all levels of client organizationsAbility to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environmentTime management and prioritization skillsAbility to implement feedback and tailor approach for successIf Verizon and this role sound like a fit, apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.Where you’ll be workingIn this mobile role, you’ll primarily work from customer or field locations, with occasional visits to a Verizon location for training and meetings.When you join VerizonYou want more out of a career.
