OverviewJob Title: Director of Asset ManagementReports To: Chief Marketing OfficerDirect Reports: YesDepartment: OperationsLocation: Newport Beach, CAFLSA Status: Exempt/SalaryPosition Status: Full-TimeWork Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (subject to change based on project assignments/deadlines)Base Salary: $100,000Travel: Up to 25% of the time; includes out-of-state travelJob Summary: The Director of Asset Management is responsible for the success of our investor relationships and Asset Management team in achieving the objectives of the Asset Management department. In this role, you’ll oversee investor relationships, investor communications, and help foster new growth opportunities within those relationships. You will also be directly responsible for the professional development, mentorship, and performance management of the Manager-level subordinate, ensuring they grow in leadership capability and technical skill to support the team’s long-term success. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in team development and leadership, project management, and account management. In addition, the candidate will have deep knowledge and experience in self-storage operations, revenue management, marketing, accounting, and CapEx projects.
