OverviewRole: Principal Product Manager overseeing the vision, strategy, and execution for the email prioritization and eligibility engine. You will lay out the roadmap, plan sprints, groom the backlog, set KPIs, measure success, and drive agile execution. You will lead an engineering team, monitor compliance, reliability, scalability, and performance, and stay aligned with latest technology trends.Pay and LocationBase pay range: $211,500.00/yr - $334,600.00/yr. The base salary hiring range for this position is specific by location: Washington: $211,500 - $306,600; California: $230,800 - $334,600.Your Impact - ResponsibilitiesInfluence and compellingly communicate the vision to a wide variety of key partners and stakeholdersAssess the market, platforms, industry trends, and customer needs across AI to identify trends and opportunitiesCollaborate heavily with engineers, backend services, libraries, data pipelines, machine learning models, and related teamsAlign executive management and other critical stakeholders to the vision and strategy and work cross-functionally to implement a viable plan and roadmapBuild the vision, product strategy, roadmap and executionPartner with field marketing to deploy the productProvide regular updates to leadership and escalate items when needed while maintaining relationships to resolve issues independentlyPresent strategy, roadmap and progress to senior executives (and externally as approved)Foster timely decision-making across a broad network of stakeholders and delivery partnersDemonstrate awareness of policies, processes, and programs, and adapt to different pressure-pointsCollaborate with security, architecture, engineering, quality, support, experience, program, and infrastructure teams to coordinate delivery of complex initiativesRepresent and lead delivery functions in program and executive meetingsMaintain accountability for team integrity, product excellence, delivery estimates, roadmaps, and career developmentMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience8+ years of product management experience, with ability to lead and coordinate product, architecture, data science, and technology implementationExperience delivering enterprise products/applications with high-scale digital channels (web, email, app, chat, etc.); bonus for email experienceExpertise in implementing Salesforce solutions such as Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud and EinsteinExpertise with machine learning models, large language models, and computational thinkingBusiness acumen for budgeting, project structuring, vendor/partner management, staffing, and negotiationsAbility to assess capabilities and impacts of changes in enterprise architectures from technical and business perspectivesFamiliar with agile/scrum development methodologiesWillingness to contribute as an individual when requiredStrong written and verbal communication; ability to write clear documentation and present to diverse audiencesAbility to work independently and in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive, professional approachStrong presentation skills for audiences from analysts to C-suiteOtherTravel requirements: less than 15%Based in Chicago, IL or Seattle, WA with flexible work hours to accommodate NA and UK time zonesBenefits and InclusionAccommodations: If you require assistance due to a disability applying for open positions please submit a request via the Accommodations Request Form.Posting Statement: Salesforce is an equal opportunity employer and maintains a policy of non-discrimination with all employees and applicants for employment.
