KPMG is seeking a Director in Financial Due Diligence for our Deal Advisory practice.ResponsibilitiesLead buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements, providing financial and business due diligence to Fortune 1000 companies and private equity investorsManage and coordinate the approach of clients, KPMG engagement teams, and third-party diligence providers throughout the transaction processManage staff in the field and in the office to provide real-time feedback and guidance to clients and diligence providers to help ensure timely and efficient product deliveryAnalyze target company data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings, working capital considerations, and potential liabilities and risks impacting valuation and negotiationCreate and design tailored transaction advisory reports addressing key issues, including normalized earnings, valuation model input assumptions, achievability of management's budget, and indebtedness considerationsLead and participate in people development and business development effortsAct with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environmentRequired QualificationsA minimum of eight years of experience in accounting, advisory, financial audit, or transaction experience with a Top Ten public accounting firmBachelor's degree in Accounting or CPA eligibleMinimum of eight years of experience in project management, including coordinating diverse teams, clients, and partners to ensure on-time and within-budget completion of multiple high-impact projectsStrong knowledge in one of GAAP, SEC financial reporting issues, IFRS, mergers and acquisitions, or transaction servicesWillingness and ability to travelAuthorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the futurePreferred QualificationsLicensed CPA or equivalent certificationEstablished relationships with decision-makers at Fortune 500 companies for potential business developmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsSkills:Strategic Business DevelopmentDecision MakingProblem SolvingKPMG is an equal opportunity employer.
