Application Developer

OverviewBigBear.ai is seeking a Application Developer. You will be the technical lead for the EPD Interactives team responsible for developing highly custom FINTEL products requiring enhanced visualization and interactive tools to support the underlying product analysis. Interactive products are custom single page apps written in Angular or React and leverage JavaScript libraries to deliver dynamic and data-driven visualizations. The Interactives team is also responsible for development of custom reusable UI components common in many of our products like timelines and org charts. Interactive products are supported on mobile devices such as tablets to allow for briefing to executives and leadership within the DoD and IC. Other interactive products have been developed for the purpose of hosting data in a standard format with tools for discovery, supporting timely reoccurring data updates.What you will doLead a small development team providing guidance and direction to ongoing projects by coordinating and leading regular synch meetings to review project status and teract with customers and prime contractors to understand requirements for interactive productsFacilitate data gathering, prototype implementation, and styling applications according to determined tegrating visualization tools such as maps, charts, timelines, etc.Conduct research & development and integrating enhanced tools for visualizations.Support customers and published interactive products including product revisions and updates.What you need to haveBachelor's Degree with 8-10 years of experience or 15+ years of experience to substitutefor a degreeClearance: TS/SCI /w Poly5+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using agile methods5+ years of software development experience with a variety of programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacksExperience using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and ReactHTML and CSSExperience implementing web/front-end applications with enhanced visualization and interactive tools.Experience integrating JavaScript libraries for interactive components within applicationsExperience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team.Experience mentoring or supervising employees within a collaborative team environmentWhat we/'d like you to haveExperience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutionsExperience meeting with government clients to sync priorities and ensure timelines are metExperience with a major programing language such as NodeJS and TypeScriptExperience with Material UI/MUIAbout BigBear.aiBigBear.ai is a leading provider of AI-powered decision intelligence solutions for national security, supply chain management, and digital identity.
