OverviewSenior Manager, Master Data Services role at Bristol Myers Squibb.Position is part of the Enterprise Master Data Services leadership team within the Enterprise Data Platforms organization. We support cross-functional business capabilities by providing foundational master data and services. We aim to improve data quality and promote data capabilities for all our stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the data and process expert in supply chain data and ensure alignment between Master Data Management (MDM) systems and supply chain processes. Maintain and oversee data quality standards for inventory, procurement, logistics, production, and distribution systems.Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, supply chain operations, analytics teams, and leadership to ensure accurate data flows across the enterprise. Serve as the go-to person for supply chain data-related issues, troubleshooting, and improvements.Collaborate with process owners and leaders to identify opportunities for enhancing supply chain data flows and improving data accuracy and usability. Provide recommendations for data enhancements, data governance processes, and better integration with business systems.Design and implement data for analytics that help the supply chain team gain actionable insights. Collaborate on data needs for KPIs and dashboards that will inform critical decisions and performance improvements.Establish and promote data governance policies, ensuring that the supply chain data complies with internal and external standards. Work with IT teams to enforce data quality frameworks, ensuring timely updates and accuracy.Lead knowledge-sharing sessions with internal stakeholders on best practices related to supply chain data management, data for analytics, and data process improvements. Assist in training teams on the effective use of MDM tools and reports.Serve as a business resource for supply chain data, tools, and analytic platforms. Collaborate with the technical and operations leads in troubleshooting and issue resolution efforts, working closely with business partners to resolve data-related challenges.Support the Senior Director of Master Data Services in managing strategy changes, upgrades, new implementations, and process changes, ensuring that supply chain data is accurately reflected in all system updates.Required QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in data management or supply chain data or systems are a plus (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma, or Master Data Management certification).Experience5-7+ years of experience in supply chain operations, data management, or analytics, with at least 5 years focused on Master Data Management (MDM) or data governance in a supply chain context.Proven experience in working with supply chain ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and understanding data flows in procurement, inventory, logistics, and production.Strong background in data modeling and mapping.Understanding of regulatory requirements related to data governance and supply chain operations.Technical SkillsSolid understanding of supply chain processes (inventory management, demand planning, procurement, etc.) and their data requirements.Strong data management expertise, including data quality management, data governance, and metadata management.Soft SkillsStrong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to business users and vice versa.Excellent relationship management skills; ability to build trust and work effectively across different teams, including business, IT, and external vendors across the globe.Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive, results-oriented pensation and BenefitsThe starting compensation for this job is a range from $135,000 - $158,000, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
