OverviewJob Title: Senior Lead Mobility EngineerWorld Services is seeking a Senior Lead Mobility Engineer to provide technical leadership and direction for enterprise wireless and mobile initiatives in support of a federal client. This role will lead major mobile technology projects, evaluate system performance, and recommend improvements that drive secure, efficient, and scalable enterprise mobility solutions. The Senior Lead Mobility Engineer will function as a subject matter expert, supporting datacenter modernization and enterprise mobility strategies while supervising technical staff. This is a full-time position requiring onsite work in Washington, DC three days per week.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical leadership for enterprise wireless and mobile systems initiatives.Plan and lead major mobile technology assignments, ensuring projects meet program objectives.Serve as a technical expert across multiple mobility-related projects, supporting enterprise IT modernization.Design and implement enterprise mobile architectures that align with strategic goals and standards.Develop user requirements and ensure solutions meet business and security needs.Apply best practices in mobile system engineering, development, and integration.Implement cutting-edge mobile technologies and evaluate designs to ensure resource efficiency.Apply business process improvement methods to optimize mobility workflows and services.Support full systems engineering lifecycle activities for enterprise mobility solutions.Supervise and mentor technical staff, ensuring effective collaboration and knowledge transfer.Collaborate with stakeholders to align mobile solutions with enterprise IT roadmaps.Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related field.Experience: 5–8 years of progressive experience in enterprise mobility or wireless engineering as an individual contributor.Certifications:Base-level certification: A+, Security+, or Network+.Core certification in enterprise mobility, such as VMware Certified Specialist – Workspace ONE 21.X Advanced Integration (or equivalent).Strong knowledge of enterprise mobile architectures, device management, and integration.Hands-on experience with systems engineering, lifecycle management, and mobile technology deployment.Proven ability to supervise and lead technical teams.Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills, with experience briefing stakeholders.Location & Work HoursLocation: Washington, DC (Onsite, 3 days per week)Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Eastern), excluding federal holidaysCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $125,000–$135,000Benefits include:401(k)Health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceCompany DescriptionWorld Services, LLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia.
