Director, Solutions Architecture and DeliveryThe Role and What You’ll Do: This is Principal Solutions Architect and Delivery leader role for the Core vertical stack, which includes our eCommerce application platform, Admin portal, Inventory, Ticketing, pricing and event management module, and integration middleware that includes several internal & 3rd party integrations. As the Principal Solutions Architect and Delivery leader, you will help deliver the business roadmap by architecting performant, internet-scale high throughput, secure, and robust applications that comply with On Location benchmarks and industry best practices. You will operate as a crosswalk between the business and the tech, engaging with multiple business stakeholders to review and understand their requirements, then designing system architecture in alignment with those functional requirements in conjunction with non-functional requirements (e.g., scalability, performance, observability, cybersecurity, availability, etc.). You will lend your architectural expertise throughout the SDLC to business stakeholders, product managers, business analysts, engineers, cloud architects, security, and other team members in an agile fashion.Key Responsibilities:Mature and elevate software delivery standards by establishing processes and systems that bring best practices, modern paradigms, and architecture patterns to both internal and vendor teamsParticipate in Scrum ceremonies including standups/standdowns, sprint planning, backlog grooming and refinement, retrospectives, and demosLead technical solutioning, design and architecture discussions for Core systems to provide analysis and modelling of approaches that meet requirements pertaining to functionality, usability, accessibility, security, scalability, and regulatory complianceTranslate business requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutionsCollaborate with stakeholders on capacity planning, release planning, deployments, post-deployment validations, overall status updates, post-mortems, etc.Contribute towards proof-of-concepts and prototype development that embrace new tools and technologies, architectural design patterns, and cloud and serverless paradigmsEvaluate external systems and solutions through detailed analysis of their technologies, delivery methodologies, vulnerability assessments, compliance statuses, and operational support capabilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to find opportunities to optimize and automate both workflows and qualityYou Have These:Extensive hands-on experience and success with architecting solutions that are scalable, secure, performant, robust, responsive, adaptive, and cost-efficient including web applications and industrial-grade enterprise systemsHands-on experience with eCommerce capabilities such as shopping carts, product catalogs, payment engines, payments processing, etc.Significant experience modernizing legacy applications involving architecture and technology upgradesAdvanced business stakeholder management, at all levels across internal organization and partnersRobust planning and organization skills with a track record delivering multiple projects & workstreams concurrently, against critical deadlinesProven skills and success with vendor management for different business models including augmented teams, outsourced development, and managed services for both product and operationsHands-on experience with modern WXPs (e.g., Webflow), CMSs (e.g., Contentful), and/or DXPs (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Liferay, etc.)Expert-level and demonstrable grasp of SSDLC, STLC, CI/CD, and DevOps practicesHands-on experience with AWS cloud-native capabilities (e.g., EC2, ECS, RDS, VPN, VPCs, etc.).
