Senior Software Engineer

Job Description We’re looking for a senior software engineer to build and manage our Marketing Automation suite of products for small businesses. The role involves designing and building high-performance applications from scratch using Spark and Scala. This position is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, robust, and scalable solutions. Responsibilities: Architect, design, and implement core CRM engine using emerging technologies. Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovation to improve scalability. Participate in and influence development processes, including standards, system architecture, design, and testing. Build prototypes of product components and validate their design and performance. Provide application support and systems maintenance, including batch processing applications and data exposure via APIs. Adjust product architecture responsively as customer requirements, market conditions, and technology evolve. Qualifications Mandatory Requirements: MS in Computer Science or a related discipline (strongly desired). 5+ years of relevant work experience. 3+ years of experience developing and designing software using Scala. Experience building large-scale distributed enterprise systems. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience with Functional Programming. Experience with Spark using RDDs. Knowledge of Spark SQL and Spark Streaming is a plus. Knowledge of SBT. Experience with ELK stack. Hands-on experience with Hadoop and HBase is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Desired: Hands-on experience with Hadoop and HBase is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
