OverviewJoin to apply for the Sr. Transit & Rail Project Manager role at WSP in the U.S..WSP is currently initiating a search for a Sr. BRT Design Project Manager for our Boston, MA Location. This opportunity involves transforming communities with our National Bus Rapid Transit Team and contributing to a growing organization that meets client objectives and challenges.What you will do is enable the team to shape the future of transportation through Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) projects from concept to construction.ResponsibilitiesAct as a technical expert on Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) projects at all phases, from concept to construction.Provide project management on medium to large-size projects, including contract negotiation and managing scope, schedule, and budget.Support larger projects as a Program Manager, Project Manager, Task Manager, or Segment Manager.Aid local offices pursuing or delivering BRT projects nationally with technical expertise, including opportunities to travel.Demonstrate your skills to the industry through conference presentations and paper publication.Assist in growing the business by building relationships, writing marketing proposals, and providing other business development support.Manage technical staff.Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Urban Planning.12+ years of experience in corridor development, transit projects, or equivalent.Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) experience.PE license required.Experience working with agencies on transit projects.Experience with public meetings and knowledge of City neighborhoods, community groups, and elected leadership.Demonstrated organizational and communications skills.Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety, and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.Preferred QualificationsMaster’s Degree in Engineering.Direct experience with BRT.PTOE.Strong experience in managing the review and approval of documents and deliverables in a multi-project pensation and BenefitsCompensation: Expected Salary: $150,000-$200,000.WSP provides a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, retirement savings, paid leave, and other related benefits.About WSPWSP USA is the U.S. operating company of WSP, a global engineering and professional services firm.
