OverviewEY Tax and Finance Operate (TFO) practice serves high-profile, national, and multinational clients, providing a range of domestic and international transactional tax planning services and tax-related advisory services. Our TFO practice provides the processes, technology, and people for functional outsourcing, enabled by leading-edge technology and client platforms. We operate as advisors to our client's Finance and Tax leaders and act as their managed services provider.Location: Dallas, Chicago, New York, Tampa, Cleveland, Seattle, Denver, Los Angeles, Philadelphia. Base pay range: $90,300.00/yr - $165,400.00/yr.We’re hiring for a US – Tax – National Tax - Tax and Finance Operate (TFO) and Global Operations – Implementation and Transition – Manager role within EY’s Tax and Finance Operate (TFO) and Global Operations teams.Your RoleYour role will focus on establishing relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels while delivering exceptional client service across the implementation and transition of global tax processes and related technology. You may manage the various processes within the global TFO engagement, including:Teaming across service lines and country teamsDeveloping and executing integrated (cross-services) implementation and transition workplansMobilizing global delivery capability and standardized process implementationImplementing and transforming the tax operating model (people, process, technology, data), governance structure and reporting protocolsMonitoring progress, managing risk, maximizing operational efficiencies, and keeping key stakeholders informedWorking with client and global EY teams to set strategy for transferring Managed Services to EYDeveloping the implementation scope of services and approach for moving functions from the client environment to EY, including knowledge transfer, technology and tool implementation, data requirements, and day 1 readiness criteriaManaging the operating governance structure and reporting protocols for global implementation management, tax data operations, and commercial managementResponsibilitiesEstablish client relationships and deliver high-quality service across global tax process implementationsLead and mentor teams; manage complex projects under tight deadlinesCollaborate across EY service lines and client teams to achieve objectivesDevelop and monitor project plans, risk management, and stakeholder communicationsSkills And Attributes For SuccessAbility to foster an innovative and inclusive, team-oriented environmentAbility to translate business challenges into value-added solutionsStrong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skillsProven project, team, and people management capabilities; ability to work with minimal supervisionComfort with new and emerging technologies and strong MS Excel/program management skillsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of five years of related work experienceCPA license or equivalent certification, or progress toward those credentialsStrong organizational, time management, and attention to detail; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesExperience leading global virtual and on-site teams and mentoring staffExperience with commercial management of contracts, budgets, and change managementIdeally, You’ll AlsoDemonstrate professionalism and maintain confidentiality of client relationshipsHave a broad understanding of compliance and reporting services with depth in one or more areasTake ownership, exercise good judgment, and work under pressureContribute to process improvements and share EY methodologies and tools with the teamMentor junior team members to support an inclusive, high-performing cultureHave advanced Microsoft Excel skills and program management experienceWhat We Look ForWe are seeking to identify high-potential managers to deliver exceptional client service and enable the continued growth of our practice.What We Offer YouComprehensive compensation and benefits package with base salary ranges noted above; total rewards include medical/dental, pension and 401(k), and paid time offHybrid work model with client-facing roles typically in-person 40-60% of the timeFlexible vacation policy and designated holidays, personal/family care leave, and other well-being leavesAre you ready to shape your future with confidence?
