Overview Global Head of Fund Accounting and Administration Technology is a senior management role responsible for driving applications systems analysis and programming activities, leading the Fund Middle Office Technology development team, and delivering advanced technology solutions for a global client base within Citi. Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Roadmap: Define, champion, and execute the strategic technology roadmap for the Fund Middle Office, aligning with business objectives and industry trends. Drive adoption of technologies including AI/ML and cloud computing to enhance platform capabilities and operational efficiency. Global Team Management: Lead and mentor a globally distributed team of software engineers and development leads. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement; manage resources, performance, and career development. Prepare and present regular team/project reviews to senior management and business leaders. Drive system architecture design, work with end-users, and improve the quality of deliverables. Ensure staff follow Citi policies and maintain up-to-date procedures and documentation for filings. Budgeting, planning, policy formation, and contributing to future strategic directions. Change management with controls, documentation, and approvals, including regulatory reporting requirements. Issue resolution, recommendations, and escalation to senior management as needed. Disaster recovery planning, testing, and permitting for new applications. Lead staff forums and communicate global updates to engage the organization. Define and implement best practices and processes for the department with transparency and consistency across teams. Risk assessment in business decisions, compliance with laws and regulations, and ethical conduct; supervise others and enforce accountability. Platform Ownership & Delivery: Oversee end-to-end development, implementation, and support of proprietary and vendor platforms for middle office capabilities including Portfolio Accounting, Performance & Attribution Analytics, Investment Compliance, OTC Derivative Valuation & Lifecycle Management, Investor Reporting & Client Communications, and Data Management & Reconciliation. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Development, Operations, and Business stakeholders to translate client requirements into scalable technical solutions; act as liaison between technology and business units. Technical Excellence & Innovation: Provide architectural guidance, code reviews, and oversight; promote CI/CD, testing, security; explore AI/ML capabilities for automation and decision support. Client Engagement & Representation: Represent the technology team in client discussions, RFPs, and engagements; articulate capabilities and strategic vision to technical and non-technical audiences. Industry & Market Insight: Stay informed on post-trade services, investment management trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape; identify opportunities for differentiation. Qualifications 15+ years of relevant experience 8+ years of people management experience Proven track record leading large-scale technology initiatives and delivering complex software solutions Extensive experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies Technical Skills Hands-on proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, Go) and relevant frameworks Cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native architectures Database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data warehousing principles Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices Experience integrating AI/ML models in production is a plus Domain Expertise Comprehensive understanding of Fund Middle Office and post-trade services Regulatory knowledge relevant to the investment management industry is a plus Leadership & Communication Exceptional leadership and global people management skills Strong verbal and written communication; ability to present to senior management, business stakeholders, and clients Ability to influence, negotiate, and build consensus across organizational levels Proficient with Microsoft Office applications Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree preferred What We Offer Opportunity to drive significant technological transformation within a leading financial institution Challenging role with exposure to cutting-edge technologies and global markets Collaborative and innovative work environment with focus on continuous learning and growth Other Anticipated Posting Close Date: Oct 01, 2025 Citi is an equal opportunity employer.
