Investor Relations - Finance Business PartnerWe are a growing, service-based organization backed by private equity investors. Our business thrives on project-based work, and we are seeking a finance leader who can serve as the strategic link between our private equity backers, the President, and the Board of Directors.Position Overview:The Finance Business Partner will act as the bridge between finance, operations, and key stakeholders. This individual will not only ensure the accuracy of financial reporting but will also “tell the story” behind the numbers, providing insights that drive strategic decision-making and business growth. This role requires a confident communicator who can engage directly with private equity investors, the Board of Directors, and senior leadership. Experience with government contracts is a plus.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the financial liaison between the President, Board of Directors, and private equity backers.Prepare and present financial insights, performance updates, and forecasts in a way that tells the story of the business.Partner with the President and leadership team to develop growth strategies, leveraging financial analysis to support decision-making.Lead investor relations, ensuring proactive and transparent communication with private equity stakeholders.Manage project-based financial analysis, supporting pricing, profitability reviews, and contract execution.Collaborate across departments to evaluate new opportunities, model business scenarios, and support strategic initiatives.Ensure accurate and timely reporting to the Board and private equity partners.Provide financial oversight for government contracts, including compliance and performance analysis, where applicable.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.8+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3+ years in a role requiring direct interaction with boards and/or private equity investors.Strong background in financial storytelling—able to distill complex data into actionable insights for executive leadership.Experience in project-based financial management; service-based industry experience strongly preferred.Proven success in investor relations or working closely with private equity-backed organizations.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of government contracting is a plus.High business acumen, with the ability to act as both a strategic advisor and hands-on operator. #J-18808-Ljbffr
