If this sounds like you and you are driven by purpose, join the SOPHiA GENETICS Finance team as our new Technical Accounting & Reporting Manager, and enable us to make a positive impact on the outcomes for cancer and rare disease patients worldwide. This is a hybrid opportunity, requiring 3 days onsite at our corporate office in Boston, MA or Rolle, CH.Our mission is to democratize data-driven medicine for the ultimate benefit of cancer and rare disease patients across the globe. As the Technical Accounting & Reporting Manager, you will help ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting for our global operations, lead SEC filings, support the consolidation process across entities, and maintain robust accounting policies and internal controls.ResponsibilitiesPrepare quarterly and annual filings in accordance with SEC requirementsAssist with the full monthly global consolidation process, including preparation and submission of consolidated financial statements across entitiesContribute to development, rollout, and continuous improvement of procedures, processes, accounting memos, and internal control documentationDraft and update technical accounting memos covering policies, procedures, and positions for a range of topics, including implementation and compliance with new accounting standardsManage deliverables for annual audit and quarterly reviews with external auditorsSupport ad hoc projects as necessaryRequirementsBachelor’s degree in AccountingCPA or CPA candidate preferred3-5 years of experience in public accounting serving publicly traded clients or a mix of public accounting and public company work experienceStrong knowledge of IFRS or US GAAPTechnology, SAAS, or healthcare experience preferredExperience with SOX 404 and internal controls over financial reportingProject management including consistently establishing and meeting timelinesAbility to learn and understand financial accounting systems/softwareCapable of working cross-functionally and managing multiple prioritiesExperience with Workiva, Shareworks is a plusAs an international organization, English is our primary business language.
