OverviewLAWA is seeking a dynamic, forward-looking Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. This is a pivotal role at a critical inflection point for one of the world’s busiest and most complex airport systems.The CFO will steward LAWA’s financial health, lead modernization through a major Oracle Cloud ERP implementation (go-live July 2026), and oversee financing of LAWA’s multi-billion-dollar capital improvement plan. Base pay$243,460.00/yr - $355,920.00/yr Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Stewardship – Lead all finance functions including accounting, reporting, budgeting, rates and charges, payroll, financial systems, and risk management.Strategic Planning & Analysis – Build a robust FP&A function to enhance financial modeling, evaluate opportunities, quantify risk, and provide actionable insights.Capital Program Funding – Develop and implement financing strategies for LAWA’s capital program, including bond issuances and debt management.ERP Implementation – Drive successful transition to Oracle Cloud ERP, ensuring integration and organizational adoption.Financial Planning – Lead a transparent, inclusive budget process accessible to both leadership and operating divisions.Enterprise Risk Management – Advance a comprehensive, organization-wide approach to risk identification and mitigation.Board & Stakeholder Engagement – Present regularly to the Board of Airport Commissioners, Audit Committee, and external stakeholders.Talent Development & Succession – Recruit, mentor, and retain finance professionals across a 139-person finance team.Cross-Functional Partnership – Serve as a thought partner to HR, procurement, capital development, and commercial functions. Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.At least 8 years of senior management-level experience in finance, accounting, or a related discipline with proven leadership.
