OverviewLocation: 227 West Monroe Street - Chicago, Illinois 60606Preference given to candidates who reside in Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin or within reasonable travel distance to ChicagoResponsibilitiesTerritory management and direct solicitation of companies within an approximate $55MM portfolio.Must reside in the target territory and be willing to travel more than 25% of the time within this territory, with overnight travel approximately 5-6 nights per month.Develop and close end-user-based equipment finance/lease transactions; identify targeted prospects and existing Key Bank clients.Package and price transactions to meet business objectives; manage relationships and structure transactions in line with product offerings, residuals, and pricing guidelines.Demonstrate strong selling, training, and presentation skills (one-on-one and in groups); build collaborative business relationships within a Bank market.Work independently and within a team; communicate findings and trends to internal and external constituents; coordinate across Credit, BPU, and Syndications / KeyBanc Capital Markets to drive business forward.Cover middle market and small corporate companies that meet credit criteria; perform duties as assigned and adapt to changing responsibilities as ply with all KeyBank policies and procedures, conduct business ethically, avoid conflicts of interest, and act in the best interests of Key and its clients.Education QualificationsBachelor's Degree in business, finance, economics, or related field and/or equivalent experience (required).Minimum 6+ years of equipment leasing industry sales experience with a focus on end-user relationships; proven leasing selling skills, time and territory management skills, training and presentation skills, computer skills, and effective verbal and written communication.Solid background in selling tax and non-tax related products; strong financial and credit analysis skills; working knowledge of pricing models and CRM software.Proven time management skills to maintain and develop a territory within a designated area.Ability to handle overnight travel of approximately 5-6 nights per month (required).Tactical SkillsExceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to carry out instructions, write reports, and present to customers, employees, directors, and shareholders.Personal SkillsCritical ThinkingCollaborationPractical SkillsBusiness AcumenCore CompetenciesAll KeyBank employees are expected to demonstrate Key's Values and sustain proficiency in identified Leadership pensation and BenefitsThis position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $145,000 to $160,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience.
