VP of Finance

OverviewA growing construction company is seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of Finance to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in financial strategic planning, capital markets, and M&A activities to contribute to the company/'s strategic growth and financial health.Base pay$175,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yrResponsibilitiesLeading all aspects of financial operations, including financial planning and modeling, capital strategies, and financial reporting.Managing our company/'s capital markets activities, including funding and recapitalization efforts.Overseeing M&A activities, from due diligence to integration, to ensure successful outcomes.Developing and implementing robust financial strategies and systems that align with our company/'s objectives.Partnering with other executives to provide strategic financial leadership and support on potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions.Building and leading a high-performing finance team, including talent development and performance management.Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards.Providing insightful financial data analysis to inform decision-making across the company.QualificationsBachelor/'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the construction industry.Proven experience in capital markets, funding and recapitalization, financial planning and modeling, and capital strategies.Extensive experience with M&A activities, including due diligence and integration.Strong knowledge of financial operations and reporting, as well as FP&A.Demonstrated ability in talent development and team leadership.Exceptional analytical skills and a strategic mindset.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.Strong understanding of the construction industry, including its unique financial challenges and opportunities.About JobotJobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
