As Senior Manager of Indirect Tax, you’ll step into a visible role that spans North America, supporting strategic compliance across a diverse set of entities. You’ll drive policy, lead audit defense, modernize systems, and collaborate cross-functionally to scale the indirect tax function with the business. If you’re someone who thrives in fast-paced, highly collaborative environments and wants to be seen as the expert across tax, systems, and operations — this role was built for you.ResponsibilitiesLead indirect tax compliance for multiple jurisdictions across the US and Canada, including sales & use tax, VAT, and personal & real property taxesManage all phases of tax audits, from planning through resolution, while mitigating risk and defending complex positionsPartner with Finance, Accounting, and IT to enhance and maintain ERP and tax technology solutions that support automation and accuracyMaintain and update taxability matrices, product classifications, and exemption certificate processesEstablish, document, and enforce internal policies and procedures that support compliance and scalabilityMentor and develop staff while acting as a subject matter expert across operating entitiesIdentify areas for process improvement, cost savings, and better integration of tax strategy into business planningMust-Have Technical Skills5+ years of hands-on indirect tax experience, including leadership of audits, compliance, and tax planningExperience managing indirect tax for a multi-entity structure within the US and CanadaStrong working knowledge of ERP systems and indirect tax software (e.g., Avalara, Vertex, OneSource, or similar platforms)Ability to build and maintain tax documentation and policies in a fast-moving corporate environmentExcellent cross-functional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics for non-tax stakeholdersNice to Have Technical SkillsCPA license or Master’s in TaxationPrior experience in the healthcare, life sciences, or manufacturing industriesExposure to large-scale ERP implementations or process redesignsExperience leading or contributing to internal audit and risk assessment initiatives #J-18808-Ljbffr
