Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Senior Associate / VP - Japan Desk (based in Boston)This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 3 days minimum per week in the office (subject to change and business requirements).The primary function is Investor Relations, which deals with current and prospective investor requests including, but not limited to, consultant updates and follow-up questionnaires along with coordinating Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Information (RFI), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQ). This is a client servicing role. Coverage includes Institutional and Private Wealth clients.This role supports the Japan Team, based in Tokyo. The working hours follow Boston Eastern Standard Time (EST), with some evening and early morning calls expected.This role reports to Principal, IR Tokyo. Responsibilities Serves as project lead and facilitates kick-off meetings, communicates key tasks, using approved content, and coordinates with key team members to complete the prospective investor requests Collaborates with internal functional teams (including but not limited to investments, operations, legal/compliance, etc.) as appropriate to respond to various investor inquiries Responsible for coordinating RFPs, RFIs, due diligence requests and other client related requests Coordinates with Marketing Compliance to ensure responses follow Regulator marketing guidelines Provides Sales Enablement support for Investor Relations for the Firm's global offices Manage visits and events by current and prospective client Qualifications Strong institutional and investment background, alternative investment background a plus Excellent interpersonal and project management skills Proficient in Japanese and English Proven track record to lead multiple projects, strong attention to detail and thrive in a collaborative environment Ability to think critically and draw from several resources to build simple, unified, and persuasive output Highly analytical with excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills Capable of working independently as well as team oriented Additional Details Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Finance Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Confidential Company by 2x.
