Full-time.Reports to: Vice President CybersecurityPosition overviewWe are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Account Manager to lead enterprise and government sales across North America. This role combines strategic account development with deep industry expertise, particularly in IT cybersecurity, secure transport networks and telecommunications, and emerging quantum threats. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating highly regulated environments and understanding how to align customer needs with evolving technology standards and compliance requirements.ResponsibilitiesLead business development and account growth initiatives in the banking & financial services and public sector markets.Build strong, long-term relationships with C-level decision-makers, including CISOs, CTOs, and procurement leaders.Identify client needs and deliver tailored solutions across cybersecurity, secure transport, and infrastructure readiness.Guide customers through complex sales cycles, including RFP responses, technical evaluations, and compliance discussions.Develop sales pipeline to achieve business targets to ensure profitability and scalabilityDemonstrate strong leadership to develop and lead business development activities to meet ambitious revenue growthCollaborate cross-functionally with technical pre-sales, product, and marketing teams to optimize product and company positioningStay informed on cybersecurity trends, threat intelligence, and activities from relevant standardization bodies (e.g., NIST, ETSI, ISO) and regulatory agencies (e.g., FISMA, FFIEC, SEC, CSA).Track and forecast sales activity accurately through CRM platforms like Salesforce.Requirements7+ years of B2B enterprise sales experience, with 5+ years in cybersecurity, secure communications, or IT infrastructure in North America.Strong track record of selling to financial institutions and/or federal, state, or provincial government clients.Working knowledge of cybersecurity technologies (e.g., Zero Trust, SIEM, endpoint protection, threat intelligence).Solid understanding of compliance standards such as NIST, FIPS, SOC2, and government procurement processes.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering); advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP) are a plus.Willingness to travel up to 40% across North America.Preferred qualificationsExperience with fiber optic transport network equipment (e.g., DWDM, OTN, secure optical transmission).Understanding of quantum-migration strategies and post-quantum cryptography.Familiarity with quantum technologies, including quantum computing, and their implications for long-term security planning.Awareness of and engagement with industry standards bodies and regulatory frameworks shaping the cybersecurity and telecom sectors.Existing relationships with IT/security executives in Tier 1 financial institutions or government agencies.Experience working with OEMs, MSSPs, or systems integrators.What we offerCompetitive base salary with uncapped commission potentialComprehensive benefits package including Equities, health, dental, vision, and 401(k)Opportunities for professional development and advancementA high-impact, mission-driven environment focused on critical infrastructure resilience and innovationThis position is open immediately.DetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: IT Services and IT Consulting, Computer and Network SecurityNote: Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at ID Quantique.This refined description preserves the core information while removing irrelevant postings and formatting issues. #J-18808-Ljbffr
