Regional Sales Manager, Genomic Solutions - Bay AreaPosition: Regional Sales Manager, Genomic Solutions - Bay Area. This role is remote within the Bay Area US and part of the AMR Sales team.OverviewAt Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), a Danaher operating company, we accelerate genomics progress through collaboration, scientific excellence, and continuous improvement. This role leads Genomics Field Sales in the US Bay Area region, aligning field execution with strategic priorities to achieve growth and performance targets.ResponsibilitiesLeads, coaches, and develops Genomics Field Sales in the US Bay Area region, supporting the sales team to achieve growth and performance targets by aligning field execution with the strategic priorities of the business.Attracts, engages and retains outstanding talent that embraces Danaher core values and the Danaher Business System (DBS), and provides outstanding support for customers.Embraces DBS fundamentals (visual daily management, standard work, voice of the customer (VOC), Kaizen basics, 5S, problem solving, value stream mapping and transactional process improvement) and solid commercial fundamentals (funnel management, order and revenue forecasting, dealer/distributor management).Meets and/or exceeds requirements in core value drivers (CVDs) and KPIs including orders, revenue, operating margin, OMX, working capital, product and service quality, on-time delivery, internal fill rate, employee engagement and retention.Utilizes a CRM to manage team sales tasks, pipeline, forecasting and closing data.Develops, solidifies and maintains high-level relationships within key accounts in the Western US.Monitors and evaluates sales rep progress against stated expectations and aligns behavior with performance expectations.QualificationsMust have 3+ years of experience building, mentoring and leading a sales team with a track record of meeting/exceeding sales revenue targets in the multi-million-dollar range.Five or more years of sales experience within the life sciences field; genomic solutions experience is strongly preferred (synthetic biology, cell/gene therapy, CRISPR).Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field; Master’s or PhD preferred.Extensive experience with contract negotiations and high-level selling; strong understanding of clients in Northern California in Life Sciences / Genomics / Research.Experience with or other CRM systems; ability to travel as required.The total compensation range for this position is $250,000 - $300,000. This range is provided in good faith as the range of possible compensation at the time of posting and may be modified in the future.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) for eligible employees.
