This includes reviewing award notices, account information, and documentation, verifying internal approvals, adjusting budgets, recording data into the Kuali Research system, participating in quality assurance checks, and issuing notifications to Principal Investigators (PIs) and Department Administrators (DAs). The role involves collaborating with Research Administrators in Sponsored Programs Pre-Award and Post-Award groups to resolve issues during account setup. Additionally, the Associate performs account maintenance activities such as project close-out budget actions, financial status updates, and managing system close-out processes. The position also entails researching payroll run failures, managing the Post Award off-cycle payroll log, and collaborating with sub award staff to maintain Fund Reservations (FRN). The Associate supports account maintenance for SAP master data, including processing RFDFs, updating budgets, and handling close-out projects.Required SkillsB.A./B.S., strong computer and analytical skills, and knowledge of grants.
