OverviewOklo is transforming the future of energy, and we are looking for a Systems Engineer with 3-5 years of dedicated experience in requirements management within regulated industries. In this role, you will support the requirements management process across complex, multidisciplinary engineering efforts and ensure requirements are well-structured, traceable, verifiable, and integrated into the product lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesLead the configuration and use of Siemens Teamcenter Requirements for the development and management of requirements across engineering teamsCollaborate with design, analysis, and regulatory teams to define and manage clear, verifiable, and traceable requirementsDevelop and maintain requirement hierarchies, traceability matrices, and verification plansDrive consistency and quality of requirements across technical disciplines, helping ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standardsTrain and support team members in the use of Siemens Teamcenter Requirements and best practices in requirements developmentLeverage systems thinking to support system owners/responsible engineers in ensuring system interfaces/ICDs are clearly defined and executedChampion requirements change control and configuration management processesCompetenciesOrganized: Organized and proactive in managing information and tasksPassion: Passionate about clean energy and making advanced fission a realityAnalytical: Ability to think in structured, hierarchical frameworksDetail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with a drive for clarity and precisionEffective Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skillsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in a technical field, such as nuclear, mechanical, or aerospace engineering3+ years of experience in a requirements management role for complex engineering systemsStrong communication and organizational skills, with a proven ability to work across diverse technical teamsBonus QualificationsProficiency with Siemens Teamcenter and TcRequirements, including configuration, customization, and end-user supportAdvanced degree in engineering or systems engineeringFamiliarity with systems engineering standards such as INCOSE and experience applying MBSE principlesExperience in highly regulated industries (e.g. aerospace, nuclear, automotive, defense)Who you areStartup mindset: you thrive in fast-paced environments and prefer efficiency over excessive processMotivated: self-driven with enthusiasm and alignment to team goalsTeam-player: collaborative and supportive of the teamExcellent communicator: clear and upbeat in communicationCreative: able to identify and solve open-ended problems with minimal micromanagementDetail-oriented: strong grammar and spelling; commitment to qualityAbout Oklo compensationSalary: $90,000 - $130,000. Salary may fall outside the range provided and will be dependent on applicant experience.
