OverviewSenior Project Engineer (Institutional Construction) — Senior Specialty Recruiter role: We’re seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to support a high-profile educational construction program at a local community college campus. This is a long-term, multi-phase program that is part of one of the largest community college systems in the country. In this role, you’ll work closely with project managers and stakeholders to drive successful project execution—from design coordination and construction support to documentation, scheduling, and compliance tracking.Support construction and design coordination meetingsManage and maintain electronic and hardcopy project documentation (RFIs, submittals, drawings, specs)Track and report on construction progress, cost data, and schedule updatesCoordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholdersAssist in project closeout, punch list development, and quality assuranceMaintain organized filing systems for project controls and documentationQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (required)5+ years of relevant experience in project or construction engineering—preferably in institutional, public, or commercial constructionDSA experience (Division of the State Architect) strongly preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and project management toolsStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsFull-time, Monday–Friday (9 AM – 5 PM)100% On-Site at West Los Angeles CollegeFree on-campus parkingAnticipated transition to a new project at a nearby campus in JanuaryThis is a long-term opportunity with room for continued project placement.
