Their proprietary technology enables pilots to simulate cognitive challenges of air combat in real time, at speed and scale—redefining how the next generation of fighter pilots train.Position: Principal Electrical Engineer — Louisville, CO. Lead the design and development of rugged, airborne electronics powering mission-critical AR platforms.What You’ll Be DoingArchitect, design, and develop electrical hardware for airborne AR platformsOwn the full hardware lifecycle: requirements, simulation, schematic capture, PCB layout, bring-up, and integrationEnsure compliance with MIL-STD-704 and other aerospace/military standardsLead verification, testing, and qualification campaigns (EMI, thermal, vibration, etc.)Collaborate cross-functionally with software, mechanical, and systems engineersProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior/mid-level engineersDrive continuous improvement in design processes, DFM/DFT practices, and system integrationWhat You BringBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related)10+ years of electrical design experience for complex hardware systemsExpertise in high-speed digital (DDR3/DDR4, PCIe, USB 3.0, DisplayPort), mixed-signal, analog, and power circuit designExperience with FPGAs, SoCs, and embedded systemsProficiency in Altium (schematic/PCB layout) and standard lab tools (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.)Proven background designing for aerospace-grade reliability and MIL-spec complianceU.S. Citizenship (ability to obtain a security clearance required)Bonus if you have experience with FPGA RTL design, manufacturing documentation (Gerbers, BOMs, stackups), first-article builds, or environmental qualification pensation & BenefitsBase pay range: $180,000.00/yr - $210,000.00/yrAnnual Bonus100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage (employee)PTO package: vacation, sick time, holidays, and parental leaveShort- and long-term disabilityFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Voluntary benefits (accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity)Mission-driven culture building hardware that truly mattersJob Function & SeniorityJob function: Engineering, Design, and ManagementSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeReady to apply your expertise in high-speed digital and aerospace-grade electronics to a mission-critical, next-generation AR system?
