If you have deep expertise in PLS-CADD, structural engineering, and utility infrastructure — and enjoy guiding talented teams — this is your opportunity to make an impact on the future of power delivery.What You’ll DoLead and mentor a multi-discipline engineering team on overhead transmission line projects.Manage scope, budget, quality, and schedule to exceed client expectations.Serve as Engineer of Record and ensure all designs meet industry standards and codes.Collaborate with project leadership, design teams, and stakeholders to solve complex challenges.Review and approve design packages, calculations, and construction documents.Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development proposals and cost estimates.Travel occasionally for site visits, design reviews, and client meetings.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.At least 8 years of relevant work experience.Based near a local office and able to work onsite 3 days/week.Preferred Qualifications10–12 years in structural engineering design for high-voltage overhead transmission lines.5+ years in a lead or supervisory role with multidisciplinary project coordination.Expertise in PLS-CADD, line routing, structural loading design, and foundation design.Previous experience in an engineering consultancy environment.Professional Engineer (PE) license with ability to obtain reciprocity.Strong communication skills and ability to represent the company with clients.LocationHybrid (3 days onsite & 2 days remote) - Hiring in multiple offices including Chicago, Raleigh, Atlanta, Orlando, Ann Arbor, Minneapolis, Kansas City, College Station, Houston, Dallas, Denver, Portland, Bay Area, and Los Angeles.Salary$150,000 - $200,000 depending on location and experienceSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering Services and Electric Power Transmission, Control, and Distribution #J-18808-Ljbffr
