The Director will be responsible for the planning and production of live experiential marketing activations at FIFA Fan FestivalTM 2026 across multiple FIFA World Cup 26TM Host Cities. This position plays a leading role from development to implementation, driving the overall planning, execution and budgetary responsibility for the project. The ideal candidate must have excellent communications and organizational skills and be solutions oriented. They should pride themselves on being expert project, budget, people, and time managers. Proactivity, multitasking, and problem-solving skills are a must. Responsibilities include managing and mentoring a team, monitoring, and maintaining the project scope, task timeline, operating budget, required staff/resources, and overall quality of the resulting deliverables. Multilingual proficiency and previous experience working with FIFA or across the landscape of global football is a plus.The ideal candidate must have extensive experiential marketing experience, internal team management experience, client service communication, be well organized, a self-starter, able to work with a variety of people with varying work styles, have the ability to prioritize workload, and have a drive to continue working until the job is done. This position reports to Vice President, Production.The 160over90 office environment is informal, but highly professional, requiring high-quality work and individual initiative. Each staff member is part of the team and must be willing to perform a wide breadth of activities.You Have TheseMinimum 10 years event marketing, experiential marketing, show service and team management experienceProduction of live events, tours, and fabrication of event elements a mustBachelor’s degree in marketing and/or equivalent experience in related-fieldMotivational leadership, inspiring team to deliver top performance against assigned businessExcellent interpersonal skills – will contribute culturally to the agencyAbility to develop and sustain strong working relationships with multiple national and local vendorsThis position requires experiential marketing production experience. Please note that it is not focused on TV or film productionStrong management skills; prior internal staff managementStrong planning and organizational skills to effectively manage numerous programs and resources simultaneously- Microsoft Project or similar planning tool experience preferredSound decision-making and problem-solving skills based in agency, client and industry knowledgeExcellent verbal and written communications skillsA thoroughly developed knowledge of our industry, products and services, as well as those of our competitors and clientsWilling and able to work nonstandard work hours, weekends and travel as requiredMust have professional appearance and persona with a strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitudeMicrosoft Office proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Experience working with planning tools (i.e., budget tracking, project timeline, logistics and deliverables schedules, event specs, meeting agendas and notes, etc.)Passion for new technology, sports and entertainment and live eventsWilling and able to work nonstandard work hours and weekends as required (this is not a 9 to 5 job)!Travel required up to 30%Touring / Road experience a plusRequires lifting of boxesHow we workWME Group is at the center of sports, media, entertainment, and fashion and is a largely relationship-based business.
