USC Arcadia Hospital (Keck Medicine of USC) The Position Reporting dually to the President & Chief Executive Officer of USC Arcadia Hospital and to the Keck Medicine of USC System Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), the Vice President, Human Resources (VPHR) leads all aspects of the hospital’s Human Resources operations. This includes oversight of talent acquisition, labor relations, total rewards, organizational development, and employee engagement. The VPHR also oversees Workforce Training & Development, Employee Child Care Services, and Spiritual Care. This role is pivotal in driving strategic alignment between hospital-level HR practices and Keck Medicine of USC's systemwide goals. The VPHR serves as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Executive Team, leading integration efforts with the health system, building a just and accountable culture, and advancing employee satisfaction and retention. Experience/Qualifications Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (required). Minimum 10 years of progressive HR leadership in healthcare, with at least 5 years at the executive level. Experience in academic health systems and highly matrixed environments preferred. Knowledge of California employment law, labor relations, and hospital compliance (required). Compensation For the selected candidate, a complete and competitive compensation package will be offered which includes target salary of $300K+/- depending on experience plus incentive compensation, major insurances, PTO, retirement, and relocation assistance.
