OverviewMaster Data Governance/Management - Manager - Consulting - Location OPEN at EY. Location: Anywhere in Country.EY's Analytics and Data team seeks a Master Data Management Manager focusing on helping clients define and drive data management strategy and technology implementation. The role requires a seasoned professional who can define a master data management design and drive system delivery, guiding clients through adoption and implementation of advanced technologies.What You Will DoDesign and apply comprehensive methods, practices, policies, tools, and processes to govern and control the lifecycle of data assets.Perform maturity assessments of data management capabilities and advise on tools and roadmaps to implement them.Articulate information strategies that align with business objectives.Lead workstream delivery, ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards, engage with clients daily, identify opportunities for additional services, and manage engagement economics.Provide direction to the team and foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovative solutions.ResponsibilitiesDevelop solutions to complex problems, including functional and technical design of master data management software for key data domains (customer, vendor, finance, materials).Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.Manage project status and deliverables with effective risk management.Guide clients in defining a data governance strategy (data quality, data catalog, MDM, analytics use cases, AI/ML data readiness, systems alignment to ERP/CRM).Implement data integrity assurance using cutting-edge DQ tools and processes.Collaborate on requirement gathering, BRDs, and source-to-target mappings; drive data governance and integration across the enterprise using Informatica and related tools.Lead multiple engagements, architect pipelines, respond to RFPs, create new solutions, conduct workshops, and manage in-flight projects.QualificationsMinimum 8 years of direct involvement with MDM tools (e.g., SAP MDG and/or Informatica MDM).Experience leading delivery teams in data governance, data management, and related system implementations.Knowledge of industry trends and ability to articulate them to customers; strong design, development, and delivery capabilities.Working knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure).Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills; ability to drive business outcomes.Demonstrated expertise in Data Privacy and Master Data Management; strong understanding of Data Governance and Enterprise Strategy; ability to lead teams and manage change.Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Advanced Data Analytics, or related field.ERP implementation experience including full cycles of SAP with SAP MDG; typically 6+ years of relevant developer/architect experience in MDM.Willingness to travel internationally and a valid US driver’s license; track record of stakeholder engagement.What We Look ForWe seek technically proficient individuals who can inspire and lead teams, with a passion for innovation and the ability to navigate complex challenges.What We OfferComprehensive compensation and benefits; base salary ranges vary by location; Total Rewards include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k), and paid time off options.Hybrid work model with in-person collaboration 40-60% of the time on engagements.Flexible vacation policy and paid holidays, personal/family care leave, and other well-being accommodations.Are you ready to shape your future with confidence?
