Job# TI1472Job DescriptionTechINT Solutions Group is looking for motivated individuals to operate commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) remotely piloted vehicles (RPVs), ground stations, and payloads. Responsibilities include gathering intelligence for mission planning, building and fabricating COTS remote-controlled vehicles, and configuring flight controllers for waypoint missions.RequirementsAbility to obtain a Secret clearance.Experience instructing large groups of personnel in a military environment.Experience with COTS multi-rotor and fixed-wing aircraft, including hobbyist UAS experience.Must obtain a Certified FAA UAS PART 107 Pilot License.Experience with all RPV types (land, air, sea) and ability to design/fabricate with limited instructions or pre-built kits.Ability to research emerging RPV technologies, describe their advantages, and assess their impact on DoD capabilities.Proficient in MS Office and automation tools supporting analytical efforts.Ability to work independently and interact with various organizations and military units.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Education and ExperienceJunior LevelBA/BS with 0-3 years experience orAssociates degree plus 4 years experience (equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree).No degree with 6 years experience (equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree).Journeyman LevelBA/BS with 3-10 years experience orAssociates degree plus 4 years experience (equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree).No degree with 6 years experience (equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree).Preferred QualificationsExtensive experience with Group 2+/3 UAS, specifically Penguin B and Penguin C platforms.Manned pilot experience.Ability to interpret aeronautical charts.Experience with air traffic control communication and coordination.Knowledge of UAS components and flight control software such as PixHawk, Dragon Link, RC Transmitters, Mission Planner, etc.BenefitsWe offer 15 personal days, 10 paid federal holidays, comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a competitive 401k plan.
