As our first dedicated product marketing hire for the RSAC Membership platform, you'll have the rare opportunity to shape a product from the ground up in a massive market with significant growth potential. This isn't about optimizing an existing product - it's about creating the go-to-market foundation for a platform that aims to become the definitive resource where cybersecurity professionals connect, learn, and collaborate year-round.What You'll DoMessaging & Positioning DevelopmentDefine and own product positioning; develop value propositions for our freemium model that drive conversionCreate compelling messaging architecture that differentiates us from competitorsDevelop customer segmentation and targeting strategies spanning security analysts to CISOsGo-to-Market Strategy & Campaign CreationBe a trusted partner to the product team. Leverage customer data and research to recommend product enhancements & featuresBuild comprehensive GTM strategies for both B2C membership acquisition and future B2B enterprise opportunitiesDesign and execute omni-channel campaigns that drive product adoption and revenue growthWrite and develop marketing content including messaging documents, web copy, email campaigns, case studies, and blog postsMarket Intelligence & AnalysisBecome an expert on the cybersecurity professional development landscape and competitive threatsTrack industry trends, customer feedback, and market opportunities to inform strategyUse data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and improve conversion metricsCollaborate with RSAC Research teams to translate research insights into marketable differentiatorsYour Profile6-8+ years in product marketing, with significant experience launching new products or building new categoriesExperience in cybersecurity, community platforms, and freemium subscription models are preferredFamiliarity marketing to technical audiences and translating complex value propositionsYou could be a great fit if: You have a strong analytical mindset and experience using data to drive positioning, pricing, and campaign decisionsYou have a collaborative leadership style with proven ability to lead without direct authorityYou are comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy building processes and strategies from scratchYou put customers at the center of everything you do and have deep empathy for their challengesYou are a natural storyteller with a love for crafting compelling narrativesYou dream big with a bias for action and aren't afraid to challenge the status quoThis role is not for you if: You prefer optimizing existing products rather than building something entirely newYou've only worked at large companies and aren't comfortable with startup pace and ambiguityComplex challenges drain your energy rather than fuel your creativityYou're not confident in your ability to write compelling messaging that ties deeply to customer needsPlease be aware that although this is a remote position, to be considered for the vacancy, you must be living in one of the following states.California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Washington BenefitsRSAC believes in investing in our people.
