They seek an Assistant Fund Controller to remotely join their Boston, MA office.ResponsibilitiesDevelop the current operational model, continuing to focus on the evolution of the current operating modelIdentify potential improvements to the operational processes and lead the implementation of methodsLiaise with the third-party administrator, banks, auditors, and other third-party relationshipsAssess service delivery against critical key performance indicators and ensure service weaknesses are improvedAssist the investment professionals and wider team with finance-related tasksCoordinate the valuation process and preparation of associated papers for the valuation committeeReview direct investment valuations prepared in house and provide related support to the investment teamCommunicate between third-party administrators and the investment team to ensure appropriate cash balancesPartner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful operational deliveryEnsure ongoing fund deliverables and tasks are managed effectively to agreed timescales and high expectationsRequirements3+ years of fund accounting experiencePrivate Equity Fund experiencePublic accounting experience preferredKnowledge of partnership accounting standardsExcellent communication skillsOrganized with keen attention to detailCPA strongly preferredJob ID # 66844Tagged as: Remote #J-18808-Ljbffr
