What We’re Looking ForAs a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, you’ll spend most of your time building complex, user-facing systems and crafting delightful product experiences, while also rolling up your sleeves on backend APIs and services when needed. Join us remotely from anywhere in the US or Canada as we embark on this exciting journey.What You’ll DoPartner with product and design to deliver intuitive, high-impact features that help users understand and act on their financial dataArchitect, build, and maintain complex UI components using React, TypeScript, and Next.jsContribute to shared frontend libraries, design systems, and performance optimization across the appBuild end-to-end features, including backend integration with REST and GraphQL APIsCollaborate with backend engineers to design scalable data flows and APIs that power the frontend experienceOwn features from concept to production, ensuring reliability, usability, and performanceProvide technical mentorship and peer reviews, raising the bar for code quality and product thinkingWho You Are5+ years as a software engineer, with experience working across the stack (frontend leaning)Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling (Next.js experience a plus)Strong UI/UX sensibilities — you care about creating intuitive, performant, and pixel-perfect experiencesExperience building and integrating with RESTful APIs; GraphQL familiarity a plusComfortable writing backend code when needed, particularly for API endpoints or light data transformationsSolid understanding of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and how frontend and backend systems connectProactive and self-driven: you take high ownership over projects, from shaping technical direction to delivering a polished user experienceProduct-minded: you thrive in cross-functional collaboration and balance user needs with technical trade-offsBonus: background in fintech, finance, or accounting systems — or a passion to modernize themWhat’s in it for you?Join Puzzle Financial at a pivotal growth stage where you/'ll help redefine and reimagine how companies handle their financials while building your career in a flexible, remote-first environment.
