OverviewThe Program Management Advisory and Execution (PMAE) is the enterprise level resource that supports all business units across the bank to plan, execute and govern complex cross-functional initiatives, programs, and projects. We act as partners to interject project management discipline to work efforts. The team works across silos and maintains program management governance rules. PMAE consists of over 80 project management professionals with diverse backgrounds.The work varies across engagements, ranging from regulatory compliance and risk management to the integration of technology into business processes. PMAE is not a technology-centric project management office. This is a highly matrixed organization with a management model where your direct manager provides limited daily oversight; you will operate independently while engaging with clients and stakeholders daily. As initiatives close, you will be assigned new work with new sponsors and stakeholders while staying within the PMAE supervisory chain.Each PMAE team member is a purpose-led, values-driven leader at every level, comfortable with constant change.What you will be doingThis is a mid-level project/program manager role with the expectation of prior experience driving end-to-end execution of programs using a structured PM methodology. The position offers extensive opportunity for growth while driving and executing all activities within a project/'s life cycle.You will lead cross-functional projects or programs with broad impact across the organization and may manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will be expected to be the subject matter expert in project methodology and to consistently follow established processes while proactively identifying opportunities for improvement. You will ensure all workstream owners within your project(s) are informed and follow established procedures.ResponsibilitiesEnsure the consistent quality of deliverables for assigned programs and projects, including providing quality control for workstreams within your project or program and ensuring results support the broader initiative.Effectively guide, influence and direct individuals responsible for separate work efforts to achieve common goals.Lead within a complex/global matrix fluence team and stakeholders in decisions that result in improvements; collaborate with executive leadership, sponsors, project leads, and business partners to clarify and define project requirements.Provide independent third-party challenge for program deliverables, plans and other requirements.Solve complex problems and convert incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into actionable plans or solutions.Act as a change catalyst by helping others see where new ideas can benefit program objectives.Drive the pace of work for self and other project resources while managing the program holistically.Make end-to-end decisions, own the process, and develop program and project-level processes and performance metrics.Define and clarify program objectives, requirements, and plans. Develop structure and controls around program delivery to ensure successful completion, mitigate ambiguity, and enable effective decision making.Establish relationships with stakeholders to define initial scope, timeline, resource needs, and costs; engage key stakeholders early and often and seek opportunities to improve municate effectively to distill complex ideas into simple, actionable recommendations.Requirements5+ years of experience managing complex projects and programs following a structured methodology.Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.Technical proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex projects/programs within broader initiatives, managing lifecycle activities that are long-term, organization-wide, and medium to high risk, scope and complexity with broad impact.Must be able to work at Citi location on a three days per week schedule.PMP or PRINCE2 certification, or ability to obtain within 1 year of employment.Additional Preferred QualificationsProfessional experience in a large corporation within the financial sector is a plus.Finance or accounting experience is a plus.Experience with enterprise program management tools.Job DetailsTime Type: Full timePrimary Location: Tampa, Florida, United StatesPrimary Location Full Time Salary Range: $103,920.00 - $155,880.00In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may include discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
