Position Title: Vice President / Senior Vice President, People Operations. Location: Remote, United States. Consumers are increasingly self-sufficient with their own energy production and storage, creating new challenges and opportunities for the utilities and for innovative companies to manage an evolving grid.About The RoleAs the VP/SVP of People Operations, you will architect and execute Bidgely’s end-to-end people strategy to scale the company. You’ll lead payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, onboarding, engagement, performance management, productivity, and retention initiatives—ensuring every phase of the employee lifecycle aligns with our strategic vision. You will partner with the executive team to build high-performing leaders, embed Bidgely culture across all levels, and define, measure, and report on the KPIs that drive our people agenda.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Vision – Define and own the People Operations roadmap, align programs with business objectives and growth targets. Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team on organizational design, workforce planning, core skills and competencies, and culture.Talent Acquisition & Onboarding – Develop and implement innovative recruiting strategies to attract top talent in a competitive market. Oversee a seamless onboarding experience that accelerates time-to-productivity and fosters early engagement. Design and manage competitive compensation programs, payroll administration, and benefits offerings. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.Employee Engagement & Productivity – Architect engagement surveys, focus groups, and action-planning processes to improve morale and retention. Partner with business leaders to identify productivity bottlenecks and deploy solutions that enhance performance.Performance Management & Employee Lifecycle – Build and refine a performance management framework that promotes accountability, development, and recognition. Oversee career-pathing, succession planning, and internal mobility initiatives.Retention & Culture Building – Analyze turnover trends and implement targeted interventions to enhance retention. Champion Bidgely values, driving culture-building programs and leader-led initiatives that reinforce our mission.Metrics & Analytics – Establish, track, and report on key People Ops KPIs (e.g., time-to-fill, retention rate, engagement scores, productivity metrics). Leverage data analytics to guide decision-making and optimize programs.Leadership Development – Design and deliver leadership development programs to cultivate a pipeline of strong, values-driven managers.
